Contest Brief

BILY is a company which creates products to compliment the positive behaviour management skills of parents. Our target audience are parents/caregivers of children between 2 and 8 years old together with the carers of special needs children who present with conditions including ADHD and Autism. Our products are fun and will appeal to children and of course will be welcomed by parents as tangible products/toys to assist them to mould positive behavioural outcomes for their children.

The company is BILY. This stands for Because I Love You.... which is why all parents try to positively mould the behaviour of their child.

I would like BILY to be the focus word, as this is the name of the business. But with the wording "Equipping Parents for Success" also featured in a smaller way in the logo. I like the colours eg: navy and Turquoise together. Colours of the ocean. Something that signifies serenity and peace. Which is hopefully what these products will bring to families. I also believe more women are attracted to these colours in advertising and women are generally the purchaser of children's needs.

I also see the presence of a contemporary outline of an elephant family. I see this as indicating one of the best parenting animals in the world, the elephant. Perhaps one adult leading, baby holding tail in middle, adult at the rear with trunk of baby elephants. It is the responsibility of the community to help bring up the children and with this in mind, BILY is hoping to partner with parents as part of the world community who values children and families.

So I hope this gives you something to work with. Of course this logo will feature on all stationary, website, social media and packaging so I'm hoping for something that is memorable.
