Please review the ATTACHED examples. We want something similar to these designs for the book. Book Title = Golgotha - The Curse of The Crucifixion Author = Greg J. Gardner We like the city skyline and the jet airplane flying across the cover. We also like the Gogotha and the three crosses. We like the text but would like to see some other options, along with the whole cover. Use this design as a starting point. Synopsis: The story follows the story of one of the soldiers who crucified Jesus and is cursed to live forever. We follow him through history, from Golgotha to the Dark and Middle Ages, through the 1700s and 1800s, then into the modern world, where he has become a billionaire philanthropist and found love after 2000 years. A few ideas - - We like the current text but would also like to see text made with fire or flame. - We like the fire at the bottom of the current image, but are also willing to consider other options. - We are trying to blend ancient Rome and its history with the modern world. - Use our designs as a starting point. Here’s what I’m after: • A front-cover concept that blends the past with the present. • Cohesive spine and back design that carry the same ominous atmosphere. • Print-ready PDF (600 dpi, standard trim size) plus the layered source file so my publisher can make final tweaks if needed. • When the design has been selected, we will provide the back cover text and author photograph. - Print Specs for 6x9 Book - Files must be in the CMYK color profile - 600 dpi - Front cover page dimensions: 6.125"x9.25" - Back cover page dimensions: 6.125"x9.25" - Interior page dimensions: 6"x9.25" - Use 0.5" margins, keeping all images (anything important, like characters' hands, feet, heads, etc) and text 0.5" away from the edge of the page to ensure it is not cut when the book is printed and trimmed. - Know that we use a .125" white gutter area in the final design, bringing the final page size to 6.125"x9.25", but once again, the page would need to be designed at 6"x9.25" without the gutter. (Since the gutter is in our template and does not need to be added to the image itself.) I lean toward muted palettes, dramatic lighting, and subtle textures rather than overt horror-style graphics, but I’m open to your creative interpretation as long as the mood stays dark and mysterious. If you’re comfortable with Photoshop, Illustrator, CorelDraw or similar pro tools and have a portfolio of moody fiction covers, I’d love to see your ideas and move forward quickly. NOTE: The design must be ORIGINAL and include your own images or Royalty-Free images. Each design element must be submitted individually to ensure they are not copyrighted and is free to use. Final design must be submitted in Adobe Illustrator and CorelDraw Format
