Contest Brief
I need business analysis for the business requirements for an iPhone goal setting app.
At the end I want to have a wireframe, and on-screen-object descriptions (including what is their purpose and what action happens if they are tapped).
It should have at least 4 different screens. You should also include the logic for transactions between screens.
Business requirements: The app should make it possible for the user to set goals: up to 3 goals for a year, up to 3 goals for month, up to 3 goals for a week, and up to 3 goals for a day. Good calendar overview could be included, but not a must. The app is for iPhone screen only (for now).
SUGGESTED APPROACH:
1. I suggest that you start with the app map - which screens are in the app, and how they are connected between each other.
I think you would need at least 4 screens
- (year goals entry, month entry, week entry, day entry) - they could be very similar in structure
- day overview
- settings
- most likely calendar (but not a must - depends on your wireframe ideas)
And some other (optional):
- maybe some statistics/progress report screen
- any other you think of for this app
2. Then with the wireframe, drawing the screens and elements on them. iPhone screen ration is applied (640x1136 px). Only vertical orientation.
Drawings on paper and then scanned - are fine.
The most important screen is the day overview, I think it is the place where the user could see all short and long term goals on one screen. Of course, you are free to deviate from eat and show me your ideas.
3. I give you feedback. If the wireframe (draft) is good, you can continue then refining it and adding then object descriptions (in a separate file).
