Contest Brief

We are looking for final touches to be added to our logo, this particular project requires the company name Canadian Numismatic Rarities LTD to be warped around the globe - the globe image is currently full colour and has a solid fill. We need it to be transparent with all outlines of the image present, - this is so we can watermark our images.

Three files have been attached Image 3.psd is an example of an image with a transparent / outlined image as an example of how we want the globe to look like.--no images or font from that file are to be used in the logo.Image2.pdf contains our logo with a generic font in the correct placement, the final file CNR2_white_.png has the font we want to be used in the logo but is placed incorrectly.

To sum it up we want the font from file CNR2_white_.png to be placed above and warped around the globe. The globe needs to be changed to show all outlines in the image with no solid colour or fill essentially making it transparent.

Can you supply a version of Entry 19 for light backgrounds? Where the letters are dark? Outside of that its perfect!! Please post a version for light backgrounds and we are done

Hi Marcelog4,

I think I would like to combine two of your entries and then call it a day. Use entry 2 as a base and ad the gold colour of entry 18 to the land. Keep the shading the same as it is in Entry 2. Please do it in 20% opacity and 30%. Then I think we are good. Essentially it will look like Entry 17 but with a brighter gold colour. I find the African continent is too dark on entry 17.

Please understand something. CHs are not looking for talent or works of art, we are simply looking for what works best for our needs on a particular piece. This usually is something very simply and since most CHs do not have the talent to create themselves, they come here.

Hi Marcelog4,

We are really close to a finished product here. Would it be possible to adjust Entry 17 to have only a slight amount of shading near the edges of the globe - with the remainder of the land mass to be the same colour as the Eastern part of USA . I know I said I wanted to keep the shading exactly the same but it does not look good once the image becomes transparent.

If I award you the price will you be able to send me all of the files you have worked on? I feel that I might choose different versions on different products. Please also make sure the files have transparent backgrounds so that I do not have to crop around image

Hi Marcelog4,

Can you use entry number 2 as a base and have all of the Land mass to be gold in colour - BUT keep all of the water mass the exact same shade of white? Also, please do not change any of the shading, just the colour from grey to gold. It is difficult to tell, is the globe in number 2 as transparent as in entry number 14? It is hard to tell as the globe is to the right of the ring. If it is not as transparent as entry 14 then please make it to be. Thank you!

Also, please do not delete your work, I also like your entry 14 and do not know yet which I will choose - RIght now it is between entry number 14 and the modified entry number 2.

Hi Marcelog4,

With Entry number 2, can you send a few more versions which are more opaque? I am thinking that I might like to make it more subtle of watermark.

In addition, do no delete the current version you have as I may go with it.

Can you also try a gold colour on the land masses like entry number 3?

I know it is not what I originally asked for but I might like to a have a gold version too.

I'm sorry to interrupt, he has done nothing with the image, he just cut it out, desaturated and lowered the opacity of it, this I can do I 3-4 minutes if you would like another version :))

Hello! I think I understood what do you need! Please take a look at #3, and tell me what you think! I've created all from scratch based on your logo, it's vector format so you will be able to resize it to any size you want!
