Contest Brief

I want to refresh the logo of our gated community "The Isles at Weston." I am attaching a low-res file that I have of our current logo (I do not have a hi-res version, unfortunately). Our community is located in sunny Florida, very close to the Everglades (a swamp area rich in wildlife). I'd like a logo that captures the essence of our community, an upscale gated community, family-friendly, in a subtropical climate, with lots of green areas, palm trees, lakes, and birds (NO flamingos). Please use vibrant colors.
CLARIFICATIONS:
No planes, ships, flamingos, houses, lounge chairs, or umbrellas. The community has lakes, but it's not by the sea.
