I have a 3-part product that is irregular and am looking to have a new shipping package created that keeps courier costs down by being as compact as possible. The driving purpose behind this project is pure efficiency: every extra cubic centimeter is wasted money, so the structure has to nest the product tightly without complicated folds or excessive void fill. BOX NEEDS TO BE 42-45 INCHES LONG. I'm also trying for a TAPERED box so they would compact more when palatized. >>> ALSO Incorporate a handle for the user. Also need approximate box cost for 10, 250' 1,000. Parts measurements: With long extension attached: 16.5" W x 53" L x 3" D Platform: 12" W x 16.5" L x 3" D Long extension (PVC pipe): 1 3/4" x 2 2/3" x 44" L Short extension (PVC pipe): 1 3/4" x 2 2/3" x 12.5" L The top priority is size reduction, so I’m keen to see clever structural layouts, tuck-flap or crash-lock bases, or large plastic bag mailers. Weight savings are welcome, but not at the expense of stacking strength. Secondary, is the possibility of this package being a storage case but currently foresee that a mesh poly bag included is the viable option. I am supplying sample products and any brand artwork once. What I need from you: • Your estimated price • Production-ready dieline (AI or PDF) • A quick 3D mock-up or render so I can visualize pallet density • Simple assembly instructions for our packing team I’ll approve the final design once it fits the product snugly, assembles in under 15 seconds, and meets the courier’s dimensional weight threshold. Let me know how you’d tackle the compaction challenge and any past examples that show your structural creativity.

when you mention the lenght is 12.5 " and 44", is it included with the cap and metal part (end to end)? or just lenght of PVC part only? i made it on a 3d software, and the length kinda seems bit difference

CH, this is important, you're going to get Many HUNDREDS of entries and most will be AI generated, 99% AI. These scammers invest nothing, they paste your competition details into an AI image tool and submit the generated result in seconds. No thought, no skill, no craft. Genuine hand crafted design takes real time and human expertise, and the difference shows clearly in the work. This is why entries will look so similar to each other, AI can only act on what your description says, with zero creative thinking. REAL DESIGN TAKES TIME, SAMENESS TELLS YOU EVERYTHING. ALSO PLEASE NOTE!!! AI-generated images have no copyright protection, permitting any third party to freely replicate the design, which could result in legal disputes over ownership or usage rights in the future.

Hi Contest Holder, I just wanted to point out one thing before the design moves into production. The selected layout with the long extension positioned at a 45° angle looks great visually, but I don't believe it would work in a real package. In practice, the long extension would need to sit on top of the main unit, which would increase the overall package height and make the render difficult to manufacture as shown. I'm only mentioning this because I'd genuinely like to help you avoid production issues and make sure the final packaging is both attractive and fully realistic

Hello Contest Holder, Thank you for the detailed brief I understand the priority is a compact 45-inch shipping package that fits the irregular three-part product tightly, minimizes dimensional weight, and remains practical for fast assembly and stacking. Concept: I’ll explore an efficient structural layout with a practical handle, minimal void space, and simple construction while considering tuck-flap/crash-lock or mailer-style options. I’ll also provide the required dieline, 3D mock-up, assembly guidance, and estimated box costs for 250 and 500 units. I’ve carefully analyzed the complete brief and have everything organized. I’ve understood all your requirements and analyzed the complete brief. I have a few things to show you and some questions to discuss, so I’m looking forward to your message.

Hi Contest Holder, Just a friendly observation that I hope helps. I noticed many concepts show a box width of 15–17 inches, but based on the dimensions provided, the main part is 16.5" wide and the long extension is about 2.66", so the minimum practical internal width is closer to 19–20 inches. I'm only mentioning this because I'd like to see you end up with a design that is not only visually appealing but also realistic and manufacturable. I hope this is helpful.
