Unfortunately there can be only one winner for a contest. Thank you all so much for all your efforts and for some entries I can see that a lot of effort was expended to try and win this contest.
It was very hard for me to choose only one winner as I shortlisted 16 designs I liked and then ultimately narrowed it down to 4 designs that I really liked.

Sorry for delay folks but my so-called friends that I asked to poll my short list turned out to be too lazy to help and only three people replied. I still am yet to choose a winner. I have unlocked contest and WILL definitely be picking a winning entry soon I as I can make up my mind. Perhaps Freelancer should have a new feature where you could choose other freelancers who submitted a design entry to be included in your poll (1 vote per ID) instead of just facebook etc. Obviously I don't have all the friends I think I have.

One for complete website re-design and one for a quantity of print advertisements suitable for newspapers etc, utilising the newly chosen design from this competition.

Hi everyone, not long now, only six hours left in this competition.Some very interesting designs have been submitted. Please keep them coming.
I did not want any catch phrase or additional wording other than the name and a logo and no old-style 1970's science fiction style typeface.
You can see how our existing old logo is now outdated because everyone now uses LCD screen not cathode ray tube and old style typeface is outdated and not modern.
If your submission included these unwanted elements or you think it includes a logo that will become outdated with technology changes, please re-submit your design without the unwanted extras.
At the close of this competition I will narrow down the entries to perhaps six or so and will ask those entries (if they have not done so already) to show a mock up example of their design on a letterhead, business card, web page and automobile signwriting (silver) ( http://www.toyota.com.au/rukus/colours ).

HI all, some excellent designs are coming in, thank you, keep them coming.
Please note that although we fix things we dont use spanners or gears/cogs. Quite a few entries have used this. I see the symbolism of associating a mechanic with fixing but not with computers. Could those entries that used a spanner or a cog please re-submit with some other form that is more relevant to computers/information technology, either modern or abstract.

Thank you all so far for your designs. Some interesting designs coming in. Keep them coming.
When I narrow the entries down a bit I will ask you to provide examples of how you think they should appear on various items such as Business Cards, Letterhead, Web Pages, Automobile signwriting (Toyota Rukus (aka Rumion, aka Scion xB)) etc., so please think about this when creating your designs, thanks.
Please do not include any additional text (such as phone numbers or catch phrases) other than the name and logo. Catch phrases can and do change over time.
Currently we have a 4 day public holiday weekend here in Australia for the Christian holiday of Easter. I will be logging in each day to make quick look at the entries but will not be fully back on board until Tuesday 2nd April. Thank you all again for your efforts and I look forward to many more interesting designs. Happy holidays and peace to all for your part of the world.

Don\'t hesitate to use other colours in addition to the many excellent designs that have only used grey, black, red and blue if you think it will still look professional.
