Contest Brief

I need a tattoo design created that illustrates a lot of who I am. I want the design To represent myself being different. Words such as " Be Different" Never Follow" or 'Always Question" should be incorporated into the design, as well as a symbol. I was thinking possibly a cardboard box "think outside the box" or some way of visually showing that I am taking a different path, and always want to remember that being different is the way to go. I am leaving this very open to creativity. The tattoo will go on my ribs, and does not need to be big, it should also be black and white.

I think we should move away from words, and instead just have one symbol, anything that represents someone being different, the outlier, unfortunately, I cannot think of any one thing in particular that makes me think of different, but I want to be reminded of this everyday. Maybe a tree growing sideways, or blocks stacked on top of eachother in a wierd way> i need you guys to get that creative side flowing. Something you would look at and be like wow thats different

My real motivation has come out of the fact that my father at a very young age left canada to pursue his dreams of studying music and did not follow the traditional path in life. I went to a prestigious business school and realized that everyone there were robots being streamlined into a certain path ( finance, accounting, marketing etc..) and nobody had any creativity. I turned down job offers to start up my own company and do something different than the rest of the pack, and I want to remember this and continue to do this the rest of my life.
