Contest Brief

I need a new business logo which clearly includes the following name:
The Kiwi Arts & Comedy Trust

This is a new charity whose purpose is to benefits performing arts and comedy in New Zealand.

The logo needs to be suitable for white and black backgrounds, and be easy to use on letterhead, posters, banners etc. I would like the logo to include imagery/icons which show a reference to EACH of the following things:
1. Being "Kiwi" (as in from New Zealand) - so symbols could be used such as the NZ Fern (as the All Blacks rugby team use), or the Southern Cross star constellation (as is used in the flag of New Zealand).
2. The performing arts - so a symbol that represents the theatre/shows
3. Comedy - a symbol such as a microphone and stand, or a smiley/laughing face.

Please no entries which are text only, the logo needs to include imagery/icons that cover each of the 3 reference points above AND the name of the organisation (The Kiwi Arts & Comedy Trust). Please also no imagery of headphones, film clipboards/film icons, or music icons.
