(A note upfront....Normally when I run contests, I run them for very small projects, knowing that people will see value in undertaking them because the risk of time is mitigated.
I understand and appreciate that that is not the case with this job. This is a contest that will turn many people off, just because of the risk of doing a big chunk of work, only to potentially not be paid. I get that. The reason I’m running this as a contest, is that I have a heap of course content to record, and then have someone build slide content, and I want this contest to help me determine who I am going to use for the rest of that work. So…the winner of this one not only gets the cash prize, but will get about 20 times this amount of work in return. Probably more tbh. And that work will be done on an agreed payment basis – no contest.
Think of this like a hands-on job interview).
As for the contest:
You need to create a slideshow that matches the words in the audio file provided. Its not short, admittedly, as it goes for about 75 mins. Although the main content really goes for around 60 mins and then its just question time after that, where the slide will remain static at that point.
To make life easier for you, this is based on a presentation that an ex-business partner and I did, but that she recorded. So its our joint work, but because we’ve now gone our separate ways, I need to create my own webinar presentation.
I’ve attached that original presentation.
So if you want to borrow some slides from that, go ahead. Or perhaps it just gives you an idea for a better slide for a particular point.
You will find that the words I have used are very similar to hers. However, there are differences, inlc my personal story, and some of the case studies. Plus other things.
Some of the case studies ARE the same as hers (as we worked on them together), but I have changed the name of the person, which we agreed I would do.
Where they are my unique case studies, I have provided details within the audio transcript document.
Where I don’t make it obvious that I have my own case study, and I just refer in the text to a particular person, you should grab a stock photo for that person (don’t use the photo of that person in the original webinar I’ve attached).
You are going to have to have some design skills. Whilst I have had some design work pre-done for you, there are a couple of things that need you to update. For example, when the presentations gets into the package on offer and the bonuses, the image needs to be changed to reflect my brand and my specific bonuses etc. I have attached a couple of documents which show the changes that would be required.
I have also embedded in the transcript doc 3 short testimonial videos that need to be incorporated into the webinar/presentation, and effectively play as part of the presentation.
Ignore the green references to recording breaks in the transcript. That’s irrelevant to this task.
Have also added course logo (which might help you with some coloration for the entire presentation, as well as an overall company logo (which is simply 'bp').
One of the trickiest parts to this is going to be timing the slides to line up with the provided audio.
I realise that no-one is going to be able to do the perfect job, and there will be things I realise I should have explained better, or didn’t anticipate. So, the winner has to be prepared to do a handful of edits on slides before final signoff.
