Iris Design Studio Lighting has a story for every light fixture. Each design was inspired by a South American place or landmark. We need someone creative who can make videos for Youtube and facebook that will express how this inspiration came to live - from a landmark or from nature to a home light fixture.
We need a few videos, that will be drop dead gorgeous. It is up to you to be creative. Yo can show how a hand sketch becomes a light fixture, how a trip to Guatemala's Atitlan lake with its beautiful botanical gardens inspire to become a light fixture - these are just ideas.
The main thing is to explain how the inspiration turned into a design of a real object and this way to engage consumers and get them to love and want to have the fixture.
You can use your skills: illustration, 3D whatever gets you the work... just make sure it looks real and authentic.
We will launch a series of videos with the winner, regarding our other products.

And here is teh Panajachel Story:
A beautifully designed pendant lamp, this light fixture shows Iris's love of nature.
The Panajachel ceiling lamp was inspired by the botanical gardens beside Lake Atitlan in Guatemala. The resin handmade golden birds are a symbol of its beauty and authenticity.
The fixture itself is made of aluminum, and has three Edison light bulbs (you can replace them with LEDs) so that the light shines down to bring a warm and inviting atmosphere on a surface, and shines up to the ceiling to spread a delicate light across the room. It is a great light source for a dining table or a counter top, because it allows you to focus on the surface it shines on.
As a bedroom lamp or a children's room lamp, the Panajachel ceiling lamp is wonderful. It allows a warm, focused light combined with a light spread from the ceiling, and at the same time it is an art piece that will make everyone wish they had it.
We supply the fixture with 4 rods of 20''/30cm so that when installing it, your electrician can control the height of the fixture by choosing to use 1, 2, 3 or 4 rods. The maximum height of the fixture is 6' 6".
“Great work, very clever, beautiful design!”
