Contest Brief

Hi

I have written an ebook that I would like made an attractive PDF ebook to give away. A lot of the downloads of the ebook will be on mobile devices so I am conscious of how it will look on a smaller screen. (note: it won't only be viewed on mobile devices - also computers, notebooks, etc. - but probably mainly on mobile phones)

The book I will be giving away has been translated into Chinese, but I have also attached the English version too so you can get a feel for what is said where (google translate can help too). I have attempted to create the ebook design in InDesign myself but I wasn't satisfied. In the english version and in the InDesign version that are attached, are all the pictures I would like to use and my general ideas for their placement. But when I did my version I didn't particularly take into account mobile phone viewing, so it might be better to use a different size font.

The Chinese font I have used in the indesign and word versions are not final. In the version you submit, I would like you to pick the font that you think is appropriate.

The book cover doesn't need to be too fancy as the book title is quite long. Still, would like it to look attractive with the logo and website clearly visible, and the text written in a nice way.

I have also attached my logo, which I would like on each page, along with page numbers. If there is a feature you can add to make it easily navigable (e.g. a button to 'home' at the in the footer/page number bar), then thats great.

Also, if you can make it look ok, I would like the logo to act as a watermark on each page (coping is big in China so just want to at least attempt to prevent people from simply copying my ebook without knowing where it came from - if you can achieve the same result but in a different way, then feel free) - With regards to that, I would also like to place the QR code on the intro page, and also in the section after 'you can also find out videos on wechat, weibo, youku'.

Attached are the profile pictures I would like you to use for me and Kara.

I have InDesign so if the final version could be sent to me in that, that would be helpful for me if I later want to change/add any words before release.

    Hello, would you mind posting the .indd file as an .idml file (so I can open it in my version of InDesign)? (From the Save As Type (Windows) or Format (Mac OS) menu, choose InDesign Markup (IDML).)
