Hi my name is Kelly. I am looking for a logo for a vacation rental business called Lykke Vacation Rentals. Our guests visit to enjoy hiking, biking, skiing, walking along the beach, among other things. Our vacation rentals are a place where we want our guests to feel at home after an amazing outdoor experience.

Lykke "Like-ee" means Happiness in Danish I want our logo to represent the outdoors, a place where people can relax and feel at home.

    Most of the contest holders has no idea whether the idea intact or not, as a Result, everyone falls for copied logos as usual.In this world, creativity has no place. If a designer becomes copycat, there are a lot of reasons behind it. The contestant has no fault, all faults go to contest holders who are unable to evaluate whether the design intact or not.

      You are right! Unfortunately most contest holders nowadays don't pay attention to a unique and original design work. There are designers that they spend a whole week on designing a logo for a contest, and someone just copies a licensable image in a minute and abracadabra... Moreover most contest holders even don't know how that design would work for them in a real world and scenario. They don't know how that would for their target audience and how it works on print, in black and white, with the text and without the text, on a pattern, on a letter head... and they don't know that the complexity of a logo adds a complex value to the business. For example this dark theme winning entry gives a scary scene and theme to the target audience and has print issues as it lacks negative space.

    While a logo should be unique and orginal work, some freelancers violate the freelancing laws and puts the contest holder on a lot of future headaches and pains, just beacause of using a licensable stock vector instead of a virgin concept and design work!
