Contest Brief

I am starting a new company that offer software as a service to my clients.
The industry I am targeting is companies that manufacture products (small and large scale) and that has some need for a business management system or quality management system (ISO 9001 and similar).

The website and product will be targeted specifically at the logging and handling of non-conforming products/services/information; however looking at the industry it will likely be expanded later so the logo should not reflect the specificity of the current product.

The name of the company is Business Systems Agency and the website is Business-Systems.Agency (Currently no website exist, it will be made after the logo).

My target market will be highly skilled/qualified and generally large turnover. My need is thus for a professional, sleek and clean look. The aim of my business is to provide value and improve their's, thus the logo must lend to that feeling.

Personal preference tend to shy away from square logos (Although please don't let this discourage you if you have an excellent idea for a square logo) and more towards a 9:6 or 12:9 style. The best solution might be a combo type logo where a specific section can be used as square and the complete logo where applicable. An example is attached of such type logo (Not meant as a design or style guide). The company name acronym is IQM, thus the favicon is only the "right" section and the full logo is used on the website.

It would be great if the logo can be of such style that the primary color can be changed to fit different "packages" later. Certain companies in the market for example use one color logo for ISO 9001 certification and another color for 14001.
