We are trying to match urls from the original site. We need only the letters (mb) "mbXXXX" to be capitalized in a URL like so "MBXXXX" if they are lowercase (the XXXX are numbers so they don't need to change). We were thinking of using regex with a 301 redirect in htaccess but if there is a better way then let us know.
Here is the full example:
Current URL: [url removed, login to view]
We need the URL to read: [url removed, login to view]
The site has about 100 pages that end in /Ultrasonic_Sensors/MBXXXX.htm. We need the MB letters to be capitalized on all of those pages so that is why we think the .htaccess regex would probably be the best way to force those letters to be in caps.
If you know .htaccess and redirects then this should be really easy. The first one to successfully demonstrate that this works will win this contest. Use something like this to demonstrate that it works: [url removed, login to view]
