Contest Brief

Hi there,

We would like a modular urban building(s). See example images of a industrial building.
For this example we build the texture on the grid in photoshop and from this texture on a plane in 3ds max we break of every piece and extrude it.
All in the power of 2 so it snaps perfectly together in Unity 3.5. Think of it as lego pieces. Texture should be crisp and unique and the pieces should be tileable.

Urban
So we need 1 or 2 2048x2048 textures as .psd files (make it unique)
Modular pieces as 3dsmax / FBX format
Unity demoscene.

    So you just want the pieces like in "example.jpg" so you can build your own building instead of a model of an actual building?

    next question, should it be dirty? old fabric or newer one, graffities, dirt, broken windows, rust?

      Should be older..graffity,rust and dirt is good but it should not be abandoned.

    A tris, u need it for a computergame? i think unity converts quads automatic to tris, my polycount is at the moment 706 faces, would be about 1300 tris

      1300 should be okay..it's for the Unity gameengine

      The example package with 22 pieces has a total of 1192 TRIS. Anywhere around that number is okay.

    hey mister, do u need specular, bump, normal, diffuse, ao too or should we put them together in the psd-file (except of the normal and bump :p)
