Contest Brief

To clarify. This is for a bicycle. We are looking for a small sized motor that is mounted on a bicycle type transportation. I am looking to have a 3D printed Wankel motor created using plastic (or metal) material. The desired output is a prototype. My goal is to find a skilled freelancer who can create this 3D printed Wankel motor with accuracy and precision. The material must be 3D printed in plastic and have a high feature size. By this I mean each component needs to be individually printed, we are not looking for a general image of this, rather a plastic prototype. I need the prototype of this Wankel motor created swiftly and with quality results. A successful completion of this project will allow me to evaluate and test the design work for possible future projects. Experienced freelancers with 3D printing, design and engineering knowledge are encouraged to apply for this project.

you should reconsider it again your submission, since there is a lot of designer who used another 3d model from another platform and website (well, maybe most of it). you can check it on here:

    https://grabcad.com/library/wankel-motor-model-for-3d-printers-1

For some case, if you try to put some designer image into google image, you will find the same image with your submission. I am so sorry about this, but i just feel sick with some people whose work with an instant way.

Hello sir, While it is possible to 3D print components,a fully plastic motor would not be able to function normally

i have very little experience with 3D printed components. Though i do know there are many materials that can be 3D printable.

The plastic you are imagining, which components do you think may work?

This looks good. Please know I want to be able to print all individual parts from the drawings. Otherwise the end use of this motor is a bicycle...knowing that how could this motor be best used and does this alter the design in any way? I need to incorporate this motor onto a concept vehicle

Honesty there are a lot of very competitive people here submitting work. It is impressive. Its clear many are capable and some are not. I have a desire for a basic design. Obviously I know what i like and i can see who could help convey that. But the best ? comes from the chef and right now you are the chefs.

    hi
Have you considered the wear with printed parts? or it just for mock-up? the 3D-printed plastic parts are not suitable for moving part which has friction. Most of them will be used for basic shape design, instead of moving parts. If they are used for moving parts, usually they will insert any metal for better wear cause of friction.
