Contest Brief

I need someone to design and render 2 images - one looking towards the front of the church, one looking towards the rear of the church.

At the front there needs to be a mezzanine for a bedroom with a spiral staircase. At the rear there needs to be a kitchen fitted into the alcove. The main space is living area, including dining.

Walls and ceiling should be painted white. The ceiling beams should be dark brown timber. Furniture should be contemporary.

I have attached 2 images of the actual church interior front and rear views, plus some other photos for inspiration.

Hi, I am more interested in the structure - the shape of the church, the beams, the mezzanine, not the furniture. Thank you!

I will not be participating in this contest but I will offer some advice; 3D rendering, done well, takes time. At minimum, for an average image, it could take a day's work. At £20 an hour (at least) your budget is inadequate. You will only get bids from inadequate freelancers, with inadequate skills and inadequate communication skills. A photo-realistic, beautiful render which can be used for marketing/planning purposes is only possible to achieve with a budget of at least £300 an image. If you do your research and check the portfolios of freelancers, it is as simple as this - you get what you pay for. This is why you are not getting the results you expected.

Hi bukowsk1, this is not for commercial purposes. I am not expecting a photo-realistic, beautiful render. Every image that has been posted has been their previous work that bears no relation to the brief.

Please read the requirement carefully! I keep having to reject images that have no relation to what I need. It is a church converted into a residential space, with a mezzanine level above the entrance. A simplified version of the windows should be included in the design. Thank you!

Yes, mezzanine above the entrance. The dimensions are not that crucial - I just need a nice looking design.
