Contest Brief

I run a travel blog called A Certain Bent Appeal. I need a blog header that reflects its philosophy. http://www.acertainbentappeal.com

Philosophy
-World travel tips and tricks plus advice on long-term travel.
-Audience is intelligent would-be travelers looking for a smart and slightly left-of-centre take on travel.

Format:
-865px x 300px
-.jpg format

Header Needs To Include This Information:
-the title: A Certain Bent Appeal
-the slogan: A left of centre take on travel
(caps, lowercase, you decide!)

Tips
-title and slogan need to be easily readable
-focus on typography (play on the blog name via text design). Love the bold designs on http://fortydaysofdating.com/
-theme of travel should be recognizable
-orange is my theme colour

Notes On Attached Files
-orange one is for colour and general example of bold typographical design that I want
-lost girls one shows inclusion of small jpegs like the airplane to cue people that the subject is travel--this would be good
-voyager one is just a good example of typographical design

Hi guys, loving the designs and energy! Just remember that the design needs to look modern, fun, and it's important to use really fresh, modern typography. I don't want the header to scream "National Geographic." :) I'm especially looking for the typography to play with the title A Certain BENT Appeal.
