Contest Brief

Hello,

I am creating a game and need a colored concept drawing of a robot (the main character) and its ride, a rocket.

I have done a (very ugly) concept drawing of something I have in mind but need MAJOR improvement. Please see attached jpg file.
(Note: Those things on the head are eyes not a brain...)

The robot style must be cute, as in the minions from the Despicable Me movie: http://tinyurl.com/mon36rp
The drawing style should be similar to the Doodle Jump game app (flat, cartoon drawing): http://tinyurl.com/lwhrtqa

The rocket should be an "upgrade" of the robot.

The end product should be a .psd file, with editable layers and effects if possible.
