Contest Brief

Design a logo for 'Shopping Hero'

Brief purpose: Logo for website primarily; new service, no previous logo/website.

Requirements:
- Shape; Can be square or rectangle
- Icon; Needs to have either icon or initial that can be used for favicon or plugin symbol
- Final file needs to be provided in vector format (either ai or PSD)
- Fonts used need to be original or free license (for commercial use)
- Fonts: please use sans-serif
- Need to provided 2 colour combinations - inverted colours (light and dark)

Audience/target market:
B2C
users buying goods online, in Australia and international
For everyday user, non-techy
People wanting to make a difference with their online purchase

What we do: Price comparison website that gives ~3-5% of the shopping cart value to a nominated charity (depending on Affiliate fee % of merchant)
Primary service: Shopping comparison website
Secondary service - though this is the Unique Sales Proposition: you buy via Shopping Hero and a part of your money helps other people in need

Brand values / tone / image - what we want our brand, logo, tagline etc. to convey:
Impact: You can make a difference! For the greater good, helping others in need. Make the world a little better place.
Caring, helping: we help people in need, make the world a little better place
Ease of use: Site is a top-notch, user-friendly price comparison site at the same time
Trust: the money promised really goes to good cause; we are transparent, and notify users about actual donations
Bold, yet approachable...
