Contest Brief

Logo for a start-up company.

The attached two images picturing a fire-dragon and a fire-snake should be used as references.

The idea:
Have the tail and/or body of the dragon and the snake entangled.
The dragon should hold its wings around the snake to shield it.
The head of the snake should be higher and look down on the dragon.
The feeling of the image should be fire and fierceful yet passionate and protective.

Requirements:
Black and white image with an abstract design similar to the attached images.
A vector based file format compatible with Adobe Illustrator CS5.
Transparent background.

#14 has the right concept (snake head above dragon, entangled tails, protective wings, black and white) however the design is not as abstract as we like. When it comes to the abstract design #15 is more of what we are looking for, however we would like to see #15 with a slightly more obvious dragon, more similar to the snake design.

#6 is really close to what we are looking for.
We would prefer if the dragon and snake were more clearly intervened at the tail part but then separated in the top part.
Another comment is the wings of the dragon, it is not really clear that they shield the snake.
