Contest Brief

Hello, I'm after a simple, clean, modern logo for a website I'm starting, called "Slide"
It doesn't need to be called Slide, please feel free to have a think about what else it could be, you're more likely to win if you do, also, if you can, come up with a name who's domain .com can be purchased without a premium, unlike www.slide.com

Please also make your design only incorporate one colour, so it can be on a multicoloured background.

As you can see, I've already designed a logo, but I think it can be improved and/or changed.
I'll be giving comments on every item posted, as to how you can improve or if it's in the wrong direction.
This logo should be able to be used in large or small icons, so make it reasonably clear.
Once I've chosen a result you should be able to provide it in a vector format.
