Contest Brief

My office is looking for a revamp of our logo. We feel that our current logo doesn't accurately convey what our practice is focused on, and is not professional enough. Here is what we want in our logo from most important to least important:

1) Our firm's motto is "put clients first" we want to have a logo that illustrates this mentality.
2) Our firm handles mainly auto mobile accidents so implementing some sort of illustration of that would be a huge plus. Likewise we also handle criminal cases, I am not sure if it would be possible to make a simplistic logo with both factors, but if its not we would consider two of the same logos with each having the different theme (AK; one for car accidents, one for criminal cases, but an overarching similarity so that it does not look like a different brand)
3) Our firms partners are Daniel Glassman & Nick Zissimopulos. In the current logo they have G & Z as parts of the scale. While they are not worried about keeping the scale moving forward, an implementation of G & Z would be an added plus.
4) We are next to a University whose main colors are Orange and Blue so any iteration of the logo would have to look good on and Orange and Blue shirt.

On top of our current logo, I have added some pictures of other logos that I really like for a little more of a visual direction.

Here is the blue and orange color scheme we want to mimic: [url removed, login to view]
