Contest Brief

I need a logo design for a new engineering firm called FFL Engineering. This is a mechanical/electrical/plumbing design firm. The logo can be of just FFL or of FFL Engineering, or FFL with an abbreviation for engineering. A bonus would be to have a cross "hidden" into the design. Colors would be good but not solid red or maroon. The goal of FFL is to utilize the work and a portion of the profits to give opportunities to low income, hard working individuals, to gain skills that will allow them to move their income up and better provide for their families.

File formats needed:
(AI) and pdf - Colors should be in CMYK
PNG - Colors should be in RGB

All fonts should be included with the design.

  It actually stands for Fish for Life. It comes from a Chinese Proverb that says, "Give a man a fish and feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and feed him for life." The company will provide assistance to hardworking people to learn new skills that can take them from the lower/minimum income jobs to better jobs through teaching them skills that pay better.

Thank you all for your submissions. Many of them include gears. The type of mechanical engineering does not include machine design, so gears do not go along with our work.

I have posted a pdf file of 4 arch/eng firm logos for your use. Thanks. Also a logo with lower case letters might be different and will easily allow for a subtle "hidden" cross.
