Contest Brief

A logo is for a business consultant. Services provided by the consultant include business plan writing, grant writing, market research, financial analysis and business coaching.

The same logo is to be used on printed stationery including business cards and at a consultant’s website (front page of the website is attached – see the last slide)

1. The logo should contain “Planning4Business” name. If looks better, the name can also be written with a space in between words like “Planning 4 Business”

2. The logo should ideally convey the following characteristics of the business:
• Trust (e.g., because trust is essential in a consulting and a service-oriented business), authority, business knowledge and knowledge of numbers & math

Other practical consideration for the logo

• Logo should be clearly visible and readable when used in a standard size business card (54mm x 89 mm). Logo should not have distracting elements – so the logo should be sufficiently simple
• Main colors on our website are grey, black, white and blue; the logo should look nice when placed on a blue background of the website’s header. Please see website frontpage for reference (the last slide of the attached file)

3. Attached please find several possible concepts for logo design that can be developed further. I prefer concepts in options 2,4 and 7. These are ideas for designs - so if you will develop better ideas/concepts for the logo these will be very welcome

• The logo should be sent in AI, eps and pdf format.

  Strange selection CH. I still dont get what does "g4" mean!! This is why freelancers don't rely on reliable employers too. I took part in a contest 2 days ago where a 3 star design was chosen finally as winner, but the CH kept giving guidelines about his requirements frequently during the contest. lol! anyway. congratz CH, for getting your design.

Hi all, I found that certain design although they look great would not work on a blue background (e.g., one of the requirements) - for instance some designs have text/font in blue color- and so when such logo is placed on a blue background letters/text will be hardly visible.
