I'm a Canadian electronic dance music producer and I DJ as well. I'm looking for a nice eye catching logo to add to my videos, album artwork, website, hats, t-shirts, etc. to really put my name to my music and performances. I go by the name 'jepstar' I want to have the name designed creatively as the logo and eventually have an icon to go with it as well but not necessary for this contest. I'm not looking for something trippy and wacky as some people may see the rave world as but i want more of a sophisticated logo but also bright and bold. If someone were to look at a setlist for a music festival and there were 10 logos identifying the artists i want jepstar to pop out, have its own distinct character and everyone to know who it is right when they see it. I'm trying to imagine when you see the logo 'JEPSTAR' over an archway or something you imagine it as a gateway to a happy electronic dance music world.

hi guys, I don't think it is fair to take an inspirations of other's entries as I see obviously one of You based a logo on mine, but I am new here so just asking, is it normal/ common like? It does not feel right though, maybe need to get used to it?

  there is an option to hide them but they ask me to pay extra for it when creating the contest, in the future i guess you could always wait till the end of the contest to submit you work so no one has time to possibly use your ideas :)

all these stars have me thinking of maybe incorporating a red maple leaf into it. like the one from the canadian flag. just a thought. whichever one i pick ill probably want more work done in the future as well with incorporating it into different graphics, different versions, etc. so i hope the winner is willing to grow a working relation as well!

what is your favorite phrase or tag ? Something like -> "Music never sleeps" or something like that (the music never sleeps is already in use, I just wanted to give an example)
