Contest Brief

1. Pick 3 to 5 fruits below;
2. Design a cartoon character out of each fruit you have chosen (example: http://www.ribena.co.uk/images/content/waving-berry.png);
3. Put them together to form a logo.

- Apple
- Banana
- Strawberry
- Orange
- Kiwi

IMPORTANT (added 22 Jan, 4 hours after contest began):
I noticed almost all entries use fruit illustrations obtained from the Net, and the designers simply added faces to them. Some even crudely superimposed one illustration over another, which is disgraceful. Please be original. A "character" means the fruit has to bear some form of human characteristics, eg. hands and legs, like the ones submitted by sushmitasharma92 (#20)

I have a question! Why don't you reject by default everything that is not in terms with the brief (3 of 5 fruits, human traits etc)

  easy to spot actually, same design by different users. and people should bother to do a design "FOR THE CONTEST" not just post previous work that is available for download on other sites. just saying

people please understand that the cartoon character family which most people have been uploading are my intellectual property right . Please do take care to use anything you download from the net and putting it to commercial use without the License codes. Just thought to let everyone know . Thanks !

  Designers upload their work not for others to copy but so that people can take inspiration and learn , rather than causing infringement of intellectual property which is a severe offense. You are neither allowed to use these characters nor alter them for commercial use . Hope everyone understands what I mean .
