I am looking for a logo for a small, family run English company based in France that maintains holiday rental homes. The company is called Vacances D’Aude. They have an existing website (soon to be completely redesigned), which can be seen at http://www.vacancesdaude.co.uk. The business provides cleaning and laundry services, swimming pool maintenance, gardening and other general property maintenance. The logo should work in colour and black and white. It will be used on a website, on stationary and on promotional materials. The ethos of the company is that of trust and integrity – property owners can trust the business to manage their property and to professionally deal with any problems that might arise. You are joking right ? You have rejected a lot of good looking, professional logos but you kept #12.

  Some of the logos that I have rejected have been too professional for the business that will be using it - such as #9 - this is a really nice logo, but doesn't fit with the family run company that I'm working with. #4 is unfortunately too much like another UK based company that I know of, so this has been discounted. My clients liked the concept of #12, however as it stands it's not quite right either - however the slightly less formal ideas were generally better received.
  
  I do appreciate your comments here, it has definately helped me to explain what is wanted and who several good ideas have been rejected. Thank you.
