I am a new business and will be selling products online - things like kitchen utensils, cookware, BBQ tools and accessories, and small garden essentials. The logo will therefore not represent a particular product. My audience is people who buy online products.

Tagline/slogan: Quality from the roots up
I like the simple geometric icons because they stand out but I prefer a cursive font so it’s a bit of a contradictory contest.
Ideally I am looking for a distinctive eye-catching and memorable icon that can be placed to the left of the name so it can be printed sideways on BBQ tool handles etc. so the logo needs to be small-ish - not higher than the letters. Or, if a good logo can be made of the 'F' making it a text logo, then that could be ok too if it looks good.
Font:I prefer the cursive, flowing handwriting style fonts but i am open to other ideas if they have impact and give an impression of quality, class and reliability. Perhaps the logo might also match the cursive style font but really what I am looking for is that it be a symbol/icon/image that is memorable and recognisable as that brand so the lines would need to be reasonably simple.
Colour: Vivid lime green and vivid chestnut brown (if brown can ever be vivid) with the words dark enough to be readable. But it can simply a text icon then black.
(I will also be needing a shorter version once I have a logo I am happy with, that just has the word Figtree on it to print on items)
I have added a file with some ideas that I like.
“The image I chose from my contest turned out to be taken from a stock website. It had a copyright and other terms attached. I could never use the image. Disappointed and out-of-pocket.”
