Contest Brief

We are looking for a new logo for http://globalmedicineinc.com/ - a non-profit medical organisation which operates in Australia, USA, and regularly conducts teaching and voluntary activities across Africa and India.

The logo should be strong, professional and reflect either a Global or Medical theme, or both.

The current logo is attached for reference but we would be happy with a complete change.

Additional notes: The background should be white

#37 is a great looking logo, but I'm pretty sure that image has been used before for a company called West Coast Oncology. I could be wrong.

  Dear GoGetEmMike,
  I appreciate your concern for the logo you referred but my logo is not a "COPY" of that. Yes only the stethoscope look similar but my overall logo is distinctive enough to be copyrighted. Being similar is an issue?

  We all know the companies haven't copied each others' logos but they are too similar and yet exist. In a nut shell, only a rip-off copy design creates trouble. Which is not in this case.

Thank you neha and everyone who has contributed so far. The colour and text of #27 are great but we are looking for more of a global medical theme - e.g a stethoscope and a globe etc, there are some good examples ranked highly above. Thanks again everyone.

Thank you for your entries so far. It's important that the logo looks professional, so white background, simple, not cluttered, etc. If the logo is great I can update the website colours to match so I am not so concerned about the colour choice - but black and orange does look good!
