We are in the process of creating a drinking themed web shop here in Norway called Vorspiel.no. We are looking for a professional logo that is vibrant in Norwegian flag colors, or that features the flag within the logo. However, it's important the logo also works in black as well as white.
The name of the logo will be vorspiel.no or Vorspiel.no (we'll see what works best), although we may also want a version with the company name Vorspiel AS. Keep in mind for this contest that the winner will have to create a version of both in the same style. However, to start you can focus on the Vorspiel.no design and we can look at the AS version later on in the contest if you are providing interesting designs. You can also look at creating a logo as Vorspiel AS with vorspiel.no underneath.
However, there is a good chance we'll just go with the domain name as the logo - vorspiel.no so perhaps just focus on this for the most part.
The company is designed to be fun and youthful and will sell a number of drinking games (including stuff like quiz games, beer pong, shot games and so on) and accessories. Maybe it'll be cool to incorporate some games or drinking related stuff within the logo - i.e. a shot glass as one of the letters with the Norwegian flag on it or something like that. However, as much as I want to see at least one of these concepts, don't take this as specific direction but just one idea of many potential ideas.
Note: Vorspiel although not a Norwegian word, has a popular meaning here in Norway which refers to going out and drinking at someone's house and having fun (a pre-party) before going out as it's so expensive in the bars here. This might give you some idea as to the nature of the company and target market which is mostly young people 18-30.
I will provide ratings and input based on your ideas as we go. Good luck and I look forward to working with the winner.
