Contest Brief

We need a logo for our small business. We represent companies in business deals and disputes. The name of our company is Rescher Law, P.C. We are based in San Francisco, California.

The logo should be elegant. You may use black or color, but no more than 4 colors. Any fonts used should be open web fonts. The logo will be used on white or light colored paper, so design accordingly (i.e., don't design a white logo that appears on a dark background).

The logo may also appear on a business card in letterpress or as a blind deboss. To see what that would look like, check the "blind deboss" section of http://www.dependableletterpress.com/projects.

Do not use any trademarked or copyrighted logos.

I'd expect JPGs or PNGs to be delivered by the winner.

Looks like the fade is bottom to top (top is lighter than bottom). Could you make the fade top to bottom (so that the top is darker than the bottom)?

  White is a bad choice of color for the logo because the logo will sometimes need to appear on a white background.
