Contest Brief

I need a logo for a community called "Space Explorers NL". The community covers topics like Astronomy, Astrophysics, Space exploration and Planetary science.

I imagine the winning design to have a logo picture relating to Space as well as the name "Space Explorers" written in a nice font relative to the subject. However, it is more important for the font to look good with the picture instead of just having a super fancy font.
Also it will be good if the logo can look well on both white and dark background.

Be creative! I am looking for a unique, modern and eye-catching design.

Do not copy other contestants!!! If I haven't chosen a winner yet this means I still haven't seen what I am looking for.

Update after day #1:
Thank you everyone for your entries. However, nothing so far is close to what I expect (with one small exception which was good but it turned out to be stolen).
I am looking for a unique, modern looking logo, with eye catching and interesting picture. The font is more important to look good with the picture instead of just having a super fancy font.
Also it will be good if the logo can look well on both white and dark background.
