Contest Brief
I need a logo for my upcoming around-the-world travel photography and writing blog called TerryTreks. I have not launched the website yet, but there are some examples of my photography on my TerryTreks Facebook page. I'll use the logo on the website's header, on business cards, and as a watermark on photos (as a transparent version). I'd like to be able to overlay it on my photos to use as a cover image for my Facebook page.
The website will be about my travels, and will feature pictures I take and articles I write. It will emphasize my photography.
Please use these guidelines:
*The logo must include the words "TerryTreks." The two words should run together with no space, but they should be made distinct by using different colors and/or fonts. The fonts should be sans serif. This has nothing to do with Star Trek, so it should not look like science fiction.
*The logo must convey the idea of me "trekking." It must look active. Here is the definition of the word "trek:" "a long arduous journey, esp. one made on foot."
*The logo must have a picture. The best way to convey the idea of me trekking is with a single walking man wearing a backpack, so that must be in the design. I do not walk with poles, so those should not be used. Since this is an around the world travel blog, a globe should be used too.
*There should only be one mode of transportation: walking.
*The picture must not be an abstract geometric design.
*The image must be original, and not clip art.
*I am male, so the logo should be masculine (not overtly, I just mean it shouldn't be feminine).
*There should be a couple colors used. The two word could have different colors. The colors used should be clear on a white business card, and website header with a dark background.
My requirements are pretty broad, so email me with specific questions.

I'll need jpeg, transparent PNG, resource vector file for editing, and such.

#186 is a simulation of the minimalist design version. this is really discreet and representative for your website and passion. it may not have a walking man, but it has the boots, that also suggest trekking. maybe you'll like this, as in my opinion beats other childish clipart proposals. regards!'
