Contest Brief

Hello!

I'm looking for a fresh design for our company's logo. I don't have anything particular in mind for this, so feel free to chip in with your creative ideas.

Some basic requirements:

- Text: "CodeWorks Studio"
- Prefered colours: #000000, #F95A09 (feel free to use other tones of orange)

You can use any darker shades of gray instead of black and the orange colour (#F95A09) might be tweaked slightly to reflect another kind of shade.
If you manage to exceed my expectations on this I'll make sure to arrange you a few other projects as well.

UPDATES:

1) We work with high profile clients so I would like the logo to reflect this. "10 minute logos" will be rejected on sight. I'm looking for a clean yet attractive logo, with a small catch/twist but in the same time professional. Feel free to use abbreviations if you think it would help (CWS).

3) Things to keep in mind: professional, flat look, minimal, min/max 2 colours (more are fine as long it's a creative idea), gradients are ok but not a must (as far as you keep the same colour tone - so please don't submit entries with a gradient between orange and black), feel free to use other tones of orange ... more will follow.
