  We ultimately must have a logo that will work without a gradient. It would be a GREAT bonus to have (and to show us) how a layer with a gradient transparency can be included to enhance the logo in appropriate conditions within our game. It has been brought to my attention that this will make our new logo more versatile and beneficial to us. You all are doing a GREAT JOB and I THANK YOU and I am very impressed by the creativity and art that you are presenting!

     You are correct. That part of the specification that our art department put forth. We then allowed another small group to rate the designs each day. ... However, in the end of the contest, we will accept an entry that is based upon gradients or requires fonts that can not be supplied. However, adding a layer with a layer with a gradient transparency as a bonus and showing both, could be of a great benefit to us. THANKS!
