Contest Brief

Design a logo for an upcoming subscription model executive airline based in Costa Rica, to operate in Central America.
The idea is a Hummingbird, because executive jets are small and fast, and because of the natural beauty, biodiversity and tropical climate of the region. Perhaps using different colors. The company name is: iJets So also streamlined and hi tech. Its for mid level executives, so it also has to be sober and classy.
It has to be design in harmony with the name iJets, and the i has to be part of the Hummingbird. The "i" is what has to make the brand distinctive. An example is provided attached. We want something like that, but our own, this one was thought off using someone else's logo, so it has to be different. The attachment is provided only as a reference...
The Airline will operate small private jets like the one attached. We want to place the logo on the tail and the name on the body of the plane. But for brand registration in the country we require the logo to be part of the name, using the "i" in the name. After registration of the brand with the logo, we will use the logo only on the tail of the airplanes and the name on the body. And we will use name with logo as for brand registration for our marketing material.
