Contest Brief

Beautiful Catastrophe LLC is a real estate holding company. The name came from a Le Corbusier quote: "A hundred times have I thought New York is a catastrophe and 50 times: It is a beautiful catastrophe."

I would like you to design a Logo that depicts the spirit of this quote. I do not have a preference that you use the quote. I just want you to have the background.

The logo should be classic yet with a twist, interesting and maybe even a little messy. I do not want you to play it straight.

I am willing to answer any questions to make sure you have what you need to put forth your best work.

Narrowing down the entries was extremely difficult from the beginning. And I love many of the designs that did not make the final cut. Again, thank you all for your time.   From reviewing the entries I seem to be gravitating toward colors that are black, gold, silver, white, shades of blue. Although there are a few entries that are not these colors at all that I really like. So my advice would be to just go with what you feel is best and if I like the design but not the color then I will ask you to change the color. I promise.
