Project Info:
Name: Boracay Kiss - The Bed & Breakfast
Concept: Contemporary, chic and classy; think boutique hotel
Clientel: Predominately Asians and Europeans age range between 25 - 45
Hotel: Situated on an island in the Philippines that has a great view of the sunsrise, sunsets with a good island breeze
Slogan: Heaven is only a kiss away
Logo Design: 2-D and 3-D logo design (color, black & white)
Colors Pallet: Full color logo. I'm open to ideas but preferably burgundy is one of the colors
Fonts: Open to design interpretation
Submissions: At least 2 designs (each submissions must be on a white background and also a black background). *** NO STOCK LOGOS ***
Design winner will be given an advantage at a later date to create the corporate identity, website, marketing pieces and giveaways (pens, tshirt, note pads, etc). This will also be a paid assignment to the winner.

The winning design was chosen today. Again we would like to THANK EVERYONE for their designs. Top designs that were chosen were from the following designers... 1) succinct #157 and Emanuella13 #189 ; 3) Mechaion #; 4) saketmishra01 #360; 5) nom2 #192 ; 6) Superiots #68 and JosefaSK #376 . Everyone thank you for your efforts. The logos are also being vetted to make sure that they are not stock designs. We hope to let you all know the winner & the top eight voted designs. We had some great designs and some not so great designs. But we had almost 500 total designs submitted (491 to be exact) within 10 days. We had a few designs that looked to be same designer under multiple names. Although we didn't disqualify them it wasn't a good look for their design either.
Presentations is key. The brief asked for very specific things. So many did not follow directions. Some didn't incorporate the one color that was asked. Some submitted with the wrong name entirely. Designs were not submitted on a white & black background. Very few logos with 3D versions. A lot of feedback kept us busy. Due to a few site glitches for a few of you we were unable to post the feedback but we tried.

I made a different color combination for #390 that looks very nice, but the contest closed just a minute before I tried to upload it! I tell you this just in case you like the design but not te color, I can show it to you :)

The K before the B doesn't sit well with the group. We may open the contest up for a few more days since received a huge bombardment of designs at the last minute and we had not kept a watchful eye to update the powers that be on our side of things who will vote on the final logo. But remember to follow the directions of the brief. A lot of designers have abandoned the brief for their own ideas which has NOT sat well even if the designs were good. The brief asked of several things specifically. We feel that the contest is paying more money that some others on here so we had hoped to get the best designs possible.

We like the design but we have tried to stay away for the obvious lips as past of the design. That would be too easy to turn into something gaudy with the interior design.

Your designs have been quality, except one 51, we felt wasn't up to the standard we are looking for the logo design. So we will se how the voting goes with the designs. We basically see that you submitted 3 different designs with variants of this three.

273 isn't a direction we want to go as far as design in concerned. We want to stay away from the obvious lip design possibilities.
