Design a Logo for boutique apartments

Contest Brief
I require a logo for a website promoting boutique apartments in the Mediterranean. It is not some large block of flats like you would see in a big city so don't post high buildings or sky scrapers.
The logo should be simple and effective captivating an element of chic french style using preferably Mediterranean overtones like Orange, yellow, green or blue. I would love it if the logo incorporated some form of Maltese characteristics such as this Gardjola to show Maltese elements. http://static.panoramio.com/photos/large/13179642.jpg
So far logo number 29 has been the closest to what I had in mind but the colours are not fit for a Mediterranean setting. The colours in logo 15 are more fit for my purpose. It would have Seaside Apartments written around it. Please check correct spelling.

these may also help you comeup with interesting colours and ideas, boats from Malta maybe in silhoutte using same colour scheme? Don't post high blocks of buildings, we don't really have these so it's of no value.

would it help you guys if you see pictures of the apartments? Something about current logos doesn't quite identify with the style of the apartments.

Thought you might want to know, sergiovc has used clip art from here - http://all-free-download.com/free-vector/vector-cartoon/cartoon_city_building_elements_vector_1_179137.html This means you will not have ownership of the logo design and it is not custom. You can get that building for free by downloading at that website.

Looks like he stole most of his designs which break the rules here and he has no right to transfer the logo to you. The original designer can go after you if you claim it as your logo since he did not make the logo's custom.
