Need a fresh perspective for a logo:

Craigslist Blaster

It is a software product to find niche markets on craiglist

Craigslist should be a mix of shades of blue and white
Blaster should be a mix of: red / orange / purple

DEVIL VS ANGEL theme.

This project is just to see some examples gauranteed $30 to the best winner after 7 days there
will be very little feedback only star reviews winner gets the full Logo Design project.

  Please relax on the intellectual property of the designed wings. All designs are my property in the end and anyone that "wins" must demonstrate that the PSD delivered is drawn without cut and paste from another user. Re drawing is permitted (trace or otherwise) but cut and pate will not work. I saw that cut and paste but I asked for it as a concept to view. In other words perfectly fine to cut and paste when I request but it will be drawn completely over before I select the winner.

  First of all ,You gave me nothing (ixanhermogino) my "friend" and even you got "inspiration" from the same wings that you argue me about, and second i know how to CREATE original ART work and i really don't care what you think about me and my art work but for history i thought those wings don't need any changing but i changed other parts and if you really can't see that i gave really many other options ,and that takes as to third which is:It is the Holder's contest and he knows what he wants,so I am not here to argue with you, and really i will be happy for you if you win but you don't need to flatter the holder by saying words like (shame that you) and (learn how to create...) it is really shame !

Looks like to me that you guys went with a "lets see who can draw wings stretched higher" rather than focusing on the CB. Please take note of #91. Wings should not exceed the top of the Sheild. Becasue that draws the viewer's eye away from the center CB.   Please combine your CB into The wings os #58 keep your superman shield style. Don't worry about copycat there is a reason why people should modify your design you have the higher scores.

Anderworks, welcome! Look you need red and blue this is a Devil VS Angel style logo. So use Red on the blaster and Blue on the Craigslist. I think the Icon on your green one is more for like a crowdfunding site. The purple one is not the feel. We need fire and ice style.

ALL ENTRANTS PLEASE NOTE: This is a logo for a software this is not a website. So it is important to hink of this in terms of a brand on a CD box or installer ICON. It is also for an app on itunes so it should be futuristic looking and flat not a cartoon. Use the same red and blue as freelancer.com has. But on the red make it a little more cherry (less purple). Entry 4 has the colors really good.

momoshiroxiv, welcome to the contest let me tell you that you are very close to understanding this and could easily win. Both entries you need to remove any background as this will be on white background. Use a futuristic font (not rounded). For the Devil Angel one make the horns seperate from the letter or give it a stroke with a darker red. For the other entry remove the gray bg and red stroke. Good work.

ALL ENTRANTS PLEASE NOTE: If you're using any gradient in your fill make the BLACK nearly invisible (increase opacity), I prefer a solid flat color with a slightly darker stroke or different color stroke than gradient fills.

xanhermongino, Good job on color. I like the Font on CB as it looks flat style.Instead of a black gradient inner fill use a solid stroke or the red and blue but just a bit darker. It will make a more solid flat look. Make the wings solid as well intead of seperate spokes. Not bad at all bottom font needs to change in order that the L I in Craigslist is not looking like a "U" space those to chars or choose a different non serif font. Shadow top and bottom should use less black (increase opacity on the shadow)

Phyta you should remove gradients altogether. In order for it to be considered FLAT the drop shadow should not fade in black as it muddies the logo. Your first logo was better becasue it did not use shadow and had less gradient.

These are such examples. The title of craigslist blaster can be plain open sans or Arial or perhaps a thin font.. Non serif though.

Phyta. Nice job on the fill effects and ICON is alright I am thinking the C and the B need to be the same size. The Play button I think should be after "blaster" rather than in the logo. Not the style I was looking for but not bad at all.

nurhans, good use of fill. Wrong font in the CB liconon the left (should be a different font for the icon as the text. Overall not the look I am after something More modern.
