Hello,

I'm looking for a new logo for a company called "Eat Halal". Eat Halal is a halal butcher shop located in a diverse community. The logo must contain the words Eat Halal. It must appeal to a Muslim audience primarily but not be completely alien to non-Muslims. It must avoid clichés. The logo will be used in a variety of places, example: website, clothing, marketing material.

We are looking for something creative. Thank you for your time and effort.

Do you know that the exact brand is demanded in another contest, here: http://www.freelancer.com/contest/Design-a-Logo-for-Eat-Halal-repost-31548.html ? I don`t want to be mean or wrong, but i believe it`s created bu one of the designers, to get samples for this one... If i`m wrong, i apopogize
Anyway, that other one doesn`t have the usefull CH comments that i can see here now :(

It you are planning on putting a knife in you're design, please consider that the logo maybe used for other types of products such as chutneys and marinades.

Thank you all so much for the entries so far. A few points of clarification: the only text that should be in the design are the words "Eat Halal". I don't think a spoon, fork or plate is suitable.
