Design a Logo for Frattini Restaurant

Contest Brief

We need a logo for our local restaurant business called 'Frattini', with a potential to grow.

We also need an icon version with the same look and feel of the logo. The size of the icon should be square.

We also require a business card design both front and back views with the logo on it.

The main colour code for the logo is #222c5e
White and grey colours may be used in the logo design aswell.

The logo and icon must be in vector format.

We are a restaurant that provides quality Italian cuisine using fresh ingredients.
We are a traditional themed restaurant that are looking to re-invent our image whilst maintaining our original roots.
Logo design must have a fresh, comfortable and fun feeling.

The logo must have the name of the business "Frattini" implemented into the design.

It should have a transparent background so it can be placed on any background colour or texture.

All artwork must be original.

Attached is our current logo. For reference. This is not a guide, just a starting point for a new design.

The winning logo designer must agree that the ownership of the logo artwork will become Frattini's and that we will retain all rights to the winning logo artwork. It may not be used/reproduced for another project or contest.

    Hey everyone, good to see so many designs.

    Id prefer not to have a chefs hat. I would like the font to be a little more slick and sharp, with not so much calligraphy of running writing. The idea of incorporating a fork and knife, or cutlery in the logo could be intriguing to see, with an element of simplicity but also being unique!!

      I believe in open contests. People can build better designs by seeing failed designs and designs that need that little adjustment to make it right. There is no dis advantage, if your design is good it will be rated along with others. If it is bad, then it will be rejected. Building off other peoples work is something id encourage. Of course we don't want any copy cats but those who have already submitted designs can re-submitted with a fresh twist to their design. If your not happy with the contest then withdraw your designs and stop winging about how others have 'copied' you or how you have been disadvantaged. A design should never be limited to what the first applicants did, its is a creative process that involves alot of change.

      There are only so many different designs people can do before others begin to design logos with similar aspects. So my advice to those who really want to win this contest is to listen to my posts, read the brief and take in each aspect of the highly rated designs to alter and originally design a logo of their own to suit every specification.

      I agree men, but that's all the customer get when he does not engage with designers, they see 5 star rating with chefs hat and all start doing the same, I see all logos the same buddy, no creativity and lack of engagement from CH.
