Contest Brief

I need a logo for a data solutions company call Gainsboro Ltd. The logo should be for the trading name; Gainsboro Data Solutions.
This is obviously a very dry & serious subject and while the logo needs to convey professionalism and expertise i would like to see some element design flair/style. I'm open on colour scheme but the company named after the colour gainsboro so it seem right that I features somewhere to some degree.

For info; the services provided are; management reporting, data analysis, warehousing, single customer view, lead gen

Will be used on website, signature and stationary. White background please.

Would also like a version to use as a fav icon.
