Contest Brief

We have been marketing some professional landscape CAD software (called gCADPlus) for some time. Here is a link to its supporting web site: http://www.plus.gardencad.net.

The software has evolved from earlier lower cost CAD software for garden design called GardenCAD (www.gardencad.net) and our current gCADPlus logo (attached) is a crude variation of the logo for that software.

We are open to any suggestions, but want to move well away from the GardenCAD logo. The new logo must be able to work with (or incorporate) the favicon icon from our exiting web site (www.plus.gardencad.net) (copy attached). That icon will also be used in the next release of the software as it has some of the feeling of a plant symbol and we quite like the color. Note that the current name of the software (gCADPlus) will be shortened to gCAD+ and that text could be part of the logo,

We suggest that the logo should be in landscape format and we would like your entry in the form of an Adobe Illustrator file.
