Contest Brief

I would need a logo for a horse named Hljómur.
The logo should contain the name Hljómur and an image.
The image of the logo should be an abstract image of the face of the horse. Trademarks of this horse are his wavy hair and the star on his forehead. The abstract image should have these trademarks present, but otherwise the image can resemble a horse only remotely.
Attached is a picture of a horse which has been altered to look like the actual horse in question. The "feel" of the image is why it was chosen as supposed to images we have on the actual horse.

#43 has captured the concept. The image is abstract, but you can see that the trademarks are still visible: the hair and the "star". The image can still take up more space and doesn´t have to be that minimalistic. Kind of like a combination of #44 and #43.

Also, the star of a horse is more rectangular. The term "star" is used among horse owners more as a symbol that say that "the horse has a mark on its forehead".

Great designs so far, thank you. Although, as the brief states, what we are looking for is a more "abstract" image of the face of the horse. It could be just a few simple lines that capture the trademarks of the horse in the attached picture. The image doesn't have to look like a horse. For instance if someone doesn´t know that it is the logo of a horse they wouldn´t get that its a horse straight away...
