  The favourite logos so far are the ones that: (A) Spell the URL clearly. (B) Have a Logo "IQ" that can stand on its own (C) That the stand alone art says what we do... Examples: I Quote, I Search, I Save money or time etc... These are all very relevant images. We will run the staff pole again tomorrow and will select the winner the following day (Wed). Thanks again everyone.

  I've asked three staff to put a star next to each logo they like, and two stars next to the one they most like so far.
  
  We will look again tomorrow (Tuesday) at any new entries and mark the same way, and again the next day (Wednesday) - allowing everyone to fine tune or resubmit an entry. Once all three have marked I will select from the most popular and award the winner.
  
  We will invite the winner to do some additional work for us such as create a brochure, business stationary, and art for the website.

  Just throwing around ideas... The IQ can obviously stand for intelligence and that would be appropriate. The IQ could be turned into something representing "Search" as that would also be relevant. Another idea would be to make the stroke of the Q look like a laptop silhouette, or a mouse - meaning systems to access the world - and that would be appropriate. The image could look logistical as in boxes. Or the logo could rely on the arts ability to portray accuracy, speed, cost or time savings... Some things to avoid would be anything where it is difficult to identify the spelling of the URL. Avoid the logo being similar to existing brands (such as Apple' Quicktime, or EMC's Iomega etc...). My personal preference is for clever simplicity.
