Contest Brief
JoplinMO.com is a site dedicated to what there is to do in Joplin, MO. Would like a very simple brandable logo that will be easily recognizable. Something very modern and appealing to all age groups. I am open to colors and design elements. Will eventually use the logo for shirts, banners, etc so please keep this in mind when planning a design.
Please look at the logo we currently have attached. Please only submit logos that would look better than this one.

Thanks for your submission. I am looking for something modern, but not something with gradients. If you visit joplinmo.com you will see the existing logo, it is not bad I was just hoping for something great. I would give that one a 4, I was hoping for something I could give a 5 star that would match the website style and color scheme.

I would say symbol if it represents the city properly. But, font is the most important element, not seen anything yet that I like the font used.
