I know it is upsetting, but that's pretty much how these contest go... Don't know how long other designers in here have been at this but I have been at this for quite some time, we all need to know when we join these contest, put our blood, sweat and tears into these designs there are no guarantees. You will waste more time then you will gain money, keeps these things in mind, design for fun and hopefully you might win some of the time. But don't waste your time getting upset, move on to the next one, you've already wasted the time designing for this one but that's the way the cookie crumbles. After all it's a contest and it's the judges taste not what functions well in the real world! James C Knight likes Terry Coombs and I would like to congratulate Terry on a fine job!

Too all the designers who put fort the effect and a little touch of love into their design, great job and keep it up it will return the love some day!

ohhhhhh Yout little comments cut sooo deep. NOT Give me a Break. Your little star logo will be pulled for copyright infringment. Too bad you did not pick a real designer. As for Whining I am giving FACTS you choose to ignore the fact that your logo is standard clip art. Hmm expensive clipart these days. LMAO
Freelancers have already reported the image and the designer. So Good luck with that.

  We can't unsubscribe, Freelancer don't give us that option. If you (the contest holder) would like to stop getting emails as well, you can ask Freelancer to delete this contest instead of waiting until the time has run out. Have a good day everyone.

  No I was just making sure I gave everyone a rating. Some of the other artist were whining over them losing. Specifically Vixxxen a hack who cant take that she lost a little logo contest that she was never really never really good enough to enter lol

I am just speaking my mind. It is upsetting when a contest holder asks for a type of design/designs and leads designers down a path and then dismisses all entrys and rejects them removing the stars they earned. It just seems to me that most of the contest holders do not show enough respect to the designers for all the hard work they do. This happens in contests all the time. I had to speak out on this one as the contest holder may like the design with the star and that is his right. It really has nothing to do with his company or the services he supplies. There were so many Great designs. I really hope that #129 #81 or #145 wins this contest.

I picked the winner of the design I liked. Some of you guys did some good designs but in the end I picked what I liked. Its my money My company My contest. I will go back and unreject the ones I did as I did not know all the ins and outs. Report me If youd like but bottom line is youll just look like a bunch of whiners and I still picked the star one. Kasif yours sucked anyways so I dont know why your panties are in a wad.

I have removed my entries as I do not really care to get credit from you. But I must say I can not believe that you gave #127 five stars. That has got to be one of the worst ones here. A Star give me a break. That is the main reason I pulled my images. I am only writing what I am sure many designers feel. I am sure many designers put alot of thought and time into the designs and to know that something like that can get 5 stars is just sick. I think I will go throw up now.

As for #127 this image was taken right off Google. In fact it is the first star image on the google page when you search for Texas Star. (link below)

I think you are tough with the contest holder. For the entry rating, maybe he didn't know this feature existed. I seems new to this site. Myself I found this feature recently. I didn't know it was possible to review rejected entries. At this moment, the winner is not yet chosen so it's not worth complaining in advance. Design is a matter of taste. If the customer prefers to have a star in the logo, he have the right to choose this one. We all know by entering a contest on Freelancer we are not guaranteed to be picked. and it's a matter of taste.

Yep it looks like it to me as well. This person just joined the site this month as no profile info and comes up with a star logo which has nothing to do with the company or what the contest holder said he wanted and gets 5 stars.... Very FISHY indeed. I will be contacting feelancer about this one. I also urge anyone who feels the same way I do to report this contest if #127 wins.

You should not reject everyones entry. We as freelancers get credit for the work we do but we need to have a star ratings. I think you as the contest holder should rate every entry instead of just rejecting them all. It is not fair to the designers who work hard entering over 100 images for you to choose from and end up with no credit at all to show for the efforts. They should at least get the freelancers credit.
